Sandusky County Share and Care Center is a Non-profit with two locations to serve our community. Our Downtown Fremont location is located at 129 Bidwell Ave and our West side location is located at 1209 Oak Harbor Road in Fremont. Share and Care accepts donations of gently used clothing, books, crafts, toys, decorative items, household items, etc at our Downtown location. The center provides emergency assistance to those with demonstrated needs for rent, utiliites and food.
Share and Care is the Fremont Salvation Army Unit. We ring bells from Thanksgiving to Christmas Eve and use the proceeds to help residents in Sandusky County with emergency assistance for rent, utilities and other needs. Share and Care partners with St. Vincent De Paul and many churches in our area. Share and Care has a pet food bank to help with dog and cat food for those in need. We have a mailbox with free bibles and a Little Free Food Pantry as well as a Little Free Library outside of our center. Residents can “Give what you can and Take what you need.”
Sandusky County Share and Care always needs volunteers and monetary donations as well. Volunteers fill out a one-page form and then come in as their schedule allows. Volunteering is easy and a great way to bless others.
Our Center is filled with beautiful, gently used items that we “sell” for very low prices. This allows our community to focus on managing their households’ budgets effectively.
If we can help-please call 419-334-2832, stop in to either location, email us shareandcare90@yahoo.com, message us on facebook “Sandusky County Share and Care.” We have a monthly ad in Lifestyles.
