Sandusky County Share and Care Center is a thrift shop located at 129 Bidwell Avenue in Downtown Fremont. Share and Care accepts donations of used clothing, books, crafts, decorative items, household items, etc. The center also provides emergency prescription, rent, food and utility assistance to those with demonstrated need. Share and Care is a United Way agency.
Share and Care is the Fremont Salvation Army Unit. We bell ring for donations, and then distribute the donations to our community. Share and Care partners with St. Vincent De Paul and many churches in our area. Sandusky County Share and Care has a pet food bank that helps with cat and dog food. There is a mailbox with free Bibles. Outside of the center is a free “Little Food Pantry” where people “Give what they can and Take what they need.” The center is staffed by volunteers from most Sandusky County area churches. All are welcome to shop as well as volunteer to help those in need in our community. Financial Assistance is limited to Sandusky County residents only. Our high-quality items are “sold” at very reasonable prices-$1 for pants, $2 for jeans, quarter for a short sleeve shirt, .50 for sweaters/long sleeve. Name brand items may be higher. If you need assistance or would like to volunteer at Sandusky County Share and Care Center, please call (419) 334-2832. You can also follow us on Facebook-Sandusky County Share and Care Center. Dollars spent here help our neighbors. See our Monthly ad in Lifestyles Magazine.
