Sacred Heart Catholic Church

Unique among the Catholic communities in Fremont, Sacred Heart Catholic Church is the youngest and the only Catholic Church on the East side of the city.  In June 1956, Bishop Rehring appointed Fr. Leo A. Lehmkuhl to Fremont St. Joseph Parish as an assistant pastor with the duty of starting a new parish on the east side of Fremont. The new parish was officially established on September 8, 1956.  In November 2015, Fr. Krzysztof Kardzis was appointed as the ninth pastor of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Mass and Confession times

Sunday: Mass at 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM

Monday: No Mass

Tuesday: Mass at 8:10 AM, Confessions at 8:45 AM

Wednesday: Confessions at 5:30 PM, Mass at 6:30 PM

Thursday: Mass at 9:00 AM Sept.-May; Summer months Mass is moved to 8:10 AM

Friday: Mass at 8:10 AM

Saturday: Confessions at 3:00 PM, Mass at 4:00 PM
