Downtown Fremont Inc. will be hosting a Downtown Open House on Friday, December 6 and Saturday, December 7. The Pottery Perfection Done Your Way! Holly Jolly Parade is Saturday, December 7 at 6pm. Attendance to these events is free to the public.
Downtown Open House is an opportunity for businesses to have extended hours to display all the merchandise they have to make your holiday shopping spectacular. Each of the businesses will have festive holiday savings to go along with unique gifts to buy for your love ones.
On December 7 at 3pm Paramount Cinema is showing 3 movies: “The Lion King,” “Dora and the Lost City of Gold” and “A Dog’s Journey.” Doors open at 2:30pm with limited seating. Bring a non-perishable food to see free movie and popcorn is FREE for all. This sponsored by Downtown Fremont, Inc., Sandusky County Food Bank and the Paramount Cinema. Pottery Perfection Done Your Way! Holly Jolly Parade starts at 6pm to create a sparkling atmosphere through downtown with the lighted light poles to the glistening floats and vehicles in the parade. To be a part of the parade, an entry form is required. The parade starts at Roger Young Park and precedes north on Front Street and end on Front Street – on the north side of State Street by Fremont Floor Covering.
Santa is in the House on the corner of Front Street and Croghan Street in December on Friday’s from 5-7pm and Saturday’s from 1-3pm. Outside The Santa House Downtown is a mailbox for children to mail Christmas letters to Santa and receive a letter back from the North Pole from November 29 to December 18, no stamp required, but each envelope must have a return address.
