Downtown Fremont Inc. will be hosting the Croghan Colonial Bank Farmers Market and Fremont City School, City of Fremont & Great Lakes Community Partnership All Together Fremont Event on Front Street on August 7, 2021 from 9am to 1pm.  Attendance to the market will be free to the public.

During the event, there will be Tour of the World exhibits throughout the market featuring artifacts and cultural items of different countries that visitors can look at to enhance their knowledge of various cultures.  Spectators are encouraged to pick up a passport at the Downtown Fremont Inc. tent at the Front & Garrison Street intersection.  Each passport holds the opportunity to visit each country, while visiting each exhibit and learn about the country.  Each spectator will receive a sticker for the visitation to each country in their passport.  After the filling of the passport, it can be turned in to the Downtown Fremont Inc. tent to be entered into a drawing to win a $100 Think Fremont Community Card.

Also, featuring different cultural musical kiosks throughout the market from a Latin and African Drummer, Irish Step Dancers, Scottish Bagpiper, Italian Accordion Player, Matachine Dancers and Flamingo Guitarist.  Please come experience the live music!

Another attraction is Wendt Key Team Realty will be hosting a Food Drive in the parking lot across from the Paramount Cinema to collect non-perishable items to donate to the Fremont Food Pantry.

This event is a partnership with many organizations and businesses within Fremont to offer ethnic food and cultural music celebrating cultural diversity and inclusion in our community.  Please come down to the market and enjoy what Fremont has to offer.  Think Fremont!

6 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday, August 7th there will be NO PARKING on Front Street between Croghan Street and Ewing Street and on Garrison Street between Arch Street and Bidwell Avenue in Downtown Fremont due to the Farmers Market.  Parking can be located in the Lot A (Brady Parking Lot), Lot B (Arch Street Parking Lot) which are handicap assessable, on Bidwell between Garrison & Croghan Streets and on any of the side streets.
