Downtown Fremont Inc. will be hosting Bellevue Hospital’s The Crop Circle Art & Music Event on Friday, September 23rd, 2022 from 6-9pm and Saturday, September 24th, 2022, from 11am-4pm. Style Crest is the sponsor of the Art Show and Auction at The Strand Theater & Backstage Lounge both days.  Impact Credit Union is the Music Sponsor of the event.  All events will be held on the second block of Front Street and City Lot A (Brady Parking Lot).  Attendance will be free to the public.  These events are an opportunity for Fremont and surrounding communities to watch or participate in fun, creative, interactive activities.

For Friday, September 23rd, in the Lot A (Brady Parking Lot) will have an Alien Glow & Dance Party with DJ Werkit, Artists in Action Community Paint by Numbers Activities along with Larchmere Fire Works Glassblowing & Blacksmithing Demos. Finish the night off from 8:30-9pm with the GLOvation Fire Show.  Stop down to The Strand Theater & Backstage Lounge for Open Mic Night, Caricatures with Lydia Horvath, and an Indoor Art Show.  At 9pm The War of the Worlds (1953) will be shown at no cost with food and drinks available for purchase.  On Front Street between Garrison Street and Birchard will have an Open Air Art Market, Crop Circle Activities by Birchard Public Library & Croghan Colonial Bank, DORA Alien Pub Crawl. GLOvation Alien Character Photo Op, Chalk Art by Chris Fry the Chalk Goblin, Balloon Twisting by Megan, Nick the Magician and Face Painting by JPaint.  Downtown businesses Pottery Perfection “Done Your Way” and The Open House will have Crop Circle Activities.  Lastly, Glow Kayaking on the Sandusky River with Ghoul Runnings Kayak Adventures will launch at 7pm at the Fremont Sand Docks located at 1019 Sand Rd, Fremont. For Saturday, September 24th, Lot A (Brady Parking Lot) will have sounds from TSA Glass City Steel Drums and Brent Lowry Duo throughout the day.  Artists in Action Community Paint by Numbers Activities along with Larchmere Fire Works Glassblowing & Blacksmithing Demos.  The Strand Theater & Backstage Lounge will be hosting the Indoor Art Show & Auction, Caricatures with Ariel Echevarria and the showing of the movie E.T. The Extraterrestrial at no cost with food and drink available for purchase.  On Front Street between Garrison Street and Birchard will have an Open Air Art Market, Crop Circle Activities by Birchard Public Library & Croghan Colonial Bank, GLOvation Alien Character Photo Op, Chalk Art by Chris Fry the Chalk Goblin, Balloon Twisting by Megan, Nick the Magician, Face Painting by JPaint and GLOvation Stilt Performances.  At 12pm and 2pm there will be an Aerial Show by GLOvation. From 11am-4pm the downtown business Pottery Perfection “Done Your Way” will have Crop Circle Activities and The Open House have an Astrologer & Natal Chart Readings.

Stop down to see the River Wall Mural’s first panel of the Downtown Fremont Public Arts Program.  This is located by the State Street Bridge going east.

City Lot A (Brady Parking Lot) will be closed from 11pm on Thursday, September 22nd until Saturday, September 24th at 6pm.  Front Street between Garrison Street and Birchard Avenue will be closed Friday, September 23rd from 1pm until Saturday, September 24th at 6pm.
