Downtown Fremont Inc. will be hosting Bellevue Hospital’s Crop Circle Art & Music Event on Friday, October 1 from 6-9pm. The Croghan Colonial Bank Farmers Market and Pottery Perfection “Done Your Way” Crop Circle Event Saturday, October 2 from 9am-1pm. Style Crest is the sponsor of the Art Show and Auction at the Live Edge Center both days, October 1st & 2nd.  All events will be on Front Street and City Lot A.  Attendance will be free to the public.  These events are an opportunity for Fremont and surrounding communities to watch or participate in fun, creative, interactive Art and Music activities.

Art will be showcased with the  “Handmade in the 419” Art Market in Lot A (Brady Parking Lot) with art vendors selling unique items. Local artists will be sharing their different types of art at the Art Show and Auction at the Live Edge Center both days, October 1st and 2nd.  Watch out for Artist’s in Action community paint by numbers activities, where everyone can participate and be an artist!

The Crop Circle Musical Schedule will feature Street Performers highlighted on Friday with an Alien Glow Dance Party, DJ Werkit in Lot A, on Saturday live musical performances by: Kazenodacho Taiko Drummers, Drew Joseph Band, Ben Stalets, The Quick Trio and Reina Mystique.  Other activities include:  Crafts, Alien Pub Crawl, Chalk Art, Balloon Making, Face Painting and a Magician!  Lastly, glow kayaking on the Sandusky River with Kayaking Ohio which will be FREE and open to anyone from 7-9pm.  Parking and launching from both sides of the Sandusky River. Side #1 is Darr-Root fishing access located at 201 Walnut St. Fremont. Side #2 is the Sand Docks located at 1019 Sand Rd, Fremont. Kayakers will be paddling to the State St. Bridge in beautiful Downtown Fremont, and around Brady’s Island.

City Lot A will be closed Friday and Saturday for the event.  Front Street will be closed Saturday, October 2nd from 6am-2pm from Croghan Street through the Birchard Avenue and Garrison Street from Arch Street to Bidwell Avenue.
