Downtown Fremont Inc. will be hosting the Terra State Community College Crop Circle Art & Music Event on Friday, September 22nd, 2023, from 6-9pm and Saturday, September 23rd, 2023, from 11am-4pm. Style Crest is the supporting sponsor and The Bellevue Hospital is the artistic sponsor. All events will be held on the second block of Front Street and City Lot A (Brady Parking Lot). Attendance will be free to the public. These events are an opportunity for Fremont and surrounding communities to watch or participate in fun, creative, interactive activities.
For Friday, September 22nd, in the Lot A (Brady Parking Lot) there will be an Alien Glow & Dance Party with DJ Werkit, Artists in Action Community Paint by Numbers Activities along with Larchmere Fire Works Glassblowing & Blacksmithing Demos. On Front Street between Garrison Street and Birchard Avenue will have caricatures by Lydia Horvath, Face Painting by JPaint, Balloon Twisting by Katie Baker, Crop Circle Craft Activities by the Birchard Public Library & Gerber Plans LLC. Watch: Artists in Action! performing for the night: GLOvation Stilt Walkers and Alien Character, Nick the Magician, Judy Magers Shadow Box Décor, Annette Carnicom painting and painted coconuts, Ricky Martinez painting and Doodle Den Designs painting. Enjoy the Art Walk throughout different downtown businesses and the DORA Alien Pub Crawl to try “OUT OF THIS WORLD” cocktails. Come support the Open Air Market and Crop Circle Activities with Pottery Perfection. Lastly, Glow Kayaking on the Sandusky River with Ghoul Runnings Kayak Adventures will launch at 7pm at the Sand Docks West side of the River and the Darr-Root Dock off of Walnut St. on the East Side of the river. City Lot A (Brady Parking Lot) will be closed from 11pm on Thursday, September 21st, until Sunday, September 24th at 12pm. Front Street between Garrison Street and Birchard Avenue will be closed Friday, September 23rd from 1pm until Sunday, September 24th at 12pm.
