Downtown Fremont Inc. will be hosting the last of the season Fremont Federal Credit Union Car Show on Friday, September 10th, 2021 from 5-8pm.  The Croghan Colonial Bank Farmers Market & the Sandusky County Public Health and  Sandusky County Park District Street Play Saturday Event will be on Front Street on Saturday,  September 18th, 2021 from 9am to 1pm.  Attendance to the car show and market will be free to the public.

Check-in for the Car Show contestants will be on the day of the event in Lot A (Brady Parking Lot) and judging will occur at 7:30 p.m. with trophies awarded shortly thereafter. Dash plaques and goodie bags will be given to the first 150 participants to register and there will also be a 50/50 raffle. A Toys for Tots drive will also be happening by bringing or buying an unwrapped toy to donate at the show.

The Street Play Saturday Event will feature be free and inclusive activities promoting health, recreation and fitness throughout the market from kids fingerprinting, bike helmet fittings, nutrition game and much more!  Obstacle Course, Cardio Drumming from 9-10:30 and Kid’s Jazzercise from 11-12:30 happening in the parking lot across from Paramount Cinema.

Street Play Saturday Event passports can be picked up at the Sandusky County Public Health tent at the Front and Garrison Street intersection.  Make sure to visit each activity that has a balloon at its spot to earn a stamp on the passport.  When the passport is completed, participants can return the passport to the Sandusky County Public Health tent for a prize.

Lot A (Brady Parking Lot) will be closed Thursday, September 9th from midnight until Friday, September 10th at 9pm.  Front Street will also be closed Friday from 2pm until 9pm from Croghan Street to Hayes Avenue, Garrison Street from Arch Street to Bidwell Avenue for the Car Show.  Front Street is closed from Croghan Street to the alley at the Fremont Municipal Building and Garrison Street from Arch to Bidwell Saturday, September 18 from 6am to 2pm for the Farmers Market & Street Play Saturday Event.
